Overview

electraform allows you to add as many boards / consumer units as is required - there are no restrictions. In order to do this efficiently, we recommend you bear the following in mind:

  • Before adding multiple boards, count how many you need beforehand to save time  having to remove them later
  • Make a note of what type of boards you need - whether they be three phase or single phase - once the phase arrangement for a board has been set it cannot be changed
  • Make a note of the number of circuits each board needs
  • Make a note of the board names / designations - each board can be given a unique name for ease of navigating around the program

Adding a board

Click the Add board button - this will add a new board, and automatically give it a name - DB-2 in the first case, this can be changed at any time by using the Edit board feature. If you know how many boards are in the installation, you can add them all now, or do it as you go through the certificate.

Moving from one board to another

electraform provides an efficient way to move from one board to another. Click the DB selector drop down box, and all the boards in the installation will be shown as in the image below. Click the board you want to go to.

Finding a specific board in a large installation

The DB selector drop-down box has a search feature at the top when it is opened - start to enter a couple of letters of the board name, and the search feature will filter down to the board you are looking for. In this case, we want to find the Plantroom DB.
