A number of changes occurred in the EICR including the following:


Installation page


On the installation details page the term Domestic has been replaced with Residential




Observations


On the observations page a new code has been introduced for intake equipment where an X can be used. The advice is "An outcome against an item in this section, other than access to live parts should NOT be used to determine the overall outcome of the report"


Many of the pre-written observations have been re-worded.An example of this is displayed below. When searching try to use keywords to enhance your search




Inspection schedule


Section 1 of the inspection schedule has been reduced to 3 items and the X classification should also be used where appropriate


Section 4.0 item 4.11 has been removed and used to read:

Due to these changes it has not been possible to copy Amendment 1 outcomes to Amendment 2 outcomes.

Updating to Amendment 2


If you have created an EICR to Amendment 1 and want to upgrade it to Amendment 2 follow these instructions:


  • Open the Report
  • Click the Settings button
  • Open the Update to 2018+A2:2022 button and click the update button



This can also be reversed by following the same instructions and clicking Revert to 2018+A1:2020
