What are Managers?

Managers are generally Admin or office based staff responsible for managing the distribution of certificates, creating clients and Installations etc.


Some larger companies may have different divisions (such as electrical, fire, emergency lighting etc) Managers within these companies may not be responsible for all areas within the certificate range. This can be an important factor for traceability.



Accessing electraform as a Manager

Managers access electraform in exactly the same way as the main user, they will need the log-in and password details and do not require a separate account.


If your password is personal then we suggest changing it to something that you don't mind sharing



What can Managers do?

As Managers have full admin roles they can do the following:


  • Buy certificate and image credits
  • Add Engineers and set Engineer permissions
  • Add Clients and Installations
  • Create and assign certificates


Are Managers the same as Engineers?

Whilst Engineers could be Managers and vice versa they are two entirely separate lists, adding them to one list will not automatically add them to the other.


Why is this?


You may have office based staff who are responsible for administering certificates but do not have engineering experience/ qualifications and therefore would not appear on an Engineer list.

Similarly Engineers have different permissions which are personally selected for them and not necessarily admin/ managerial roles.
