Using the Quick -Appliance feature
The PATFORM certificate has a feature called Quick-Appliance - allowing the user to select pre-chosen appliances to rapidly fill in each item.
Select from the four buttons at the top of the page which environment you are working in, each section contains 24 popular appliances commonly found in offices, commercial premises and domestic properties.
Choosing an appliance
Click on an appliance, and the pre-filled options will automatically populate each section, as shown highlighted in yellow in the image below.
As the vast majority of appliances pass on inspection, all visual items are set to PASS - these can be changed if the item FAILS.
Adding test values
The fields with a red border require values to be entered by the user, as shown in the image below.
Re-test periods
Each item will have a letter in the corner of each button, indicating its appliance category, which in turn affects its re-test duration period.
Clicking this letter will display a window showing what the re-test periods are set to for this certificate.
