The PATFORM certificate has a feature called Quick-Appliance - allowing the user to select pre-built appliances to rapidly fill in each item. More information can be found on the Quick-Appliance feature here.

When using the Quick-Appliance feature re-test periods for various items of PAT testing equipment are set by default as shown below. This can be changed globally in the main settings, or for each certificate in the certificate settings.

• IT equipment - 60 months
• Portable equipment - 24 months
• Stationary equipment - 60 months
• Moveable equipment - 24 months
• Hand-held equipment - 24 months
• Fixed equipment - 48 months

If you have a set period your prefer for re-test periods, you can set them by logging into the Admin area, click Settings, then PAT appliance re-test periods.

Choose from the list for each type of equipment, those values will be applied whenever you use the Quick Appliance feature in the PATFORM certificate

If you have a client or installation that deems your default re-rest periods to be changed, you can do this on a per-certificate basis. Open the certificate, click the Settings icon, and scroll down to Appliance re-test periods.

Choose from the list for each type of equipment and click Update, those values will be applied whenever you use the Quick Appliance feature in the PATFORM certificate. 

NOTE: If you have added any appliances on the certificate prior to changing this setting, those appliances won't be affected.
